The students liked their Valentines. We ended up having one girl who did not want to hide in the bear cave and she became the Valentine fairy. She hid all the valentines in the snow and then sprinkled special dust on someone, and one by one they found their Valentine’s in the snow!

I went on a thrift run yesterday and was delighted to find a sewing machine. Mine has been on the fritz lately. I am now the proud owner of a vintage Sears Kenmore machine. I sewed a bit last night and will be taking out a “getting to know your machine” book at the library.
