I am in the midst of Sunday. I have just finished my radio training for the day on CJOB. This has been my 2nd weekend of getting to work on the weekends at 5:30 am, I think I have been functioning well.
I am leaving in 15 minutes to pick up some cookies for the teaparty this afternoon at Boys and Girls Club. I am bringing fancy dresses, 2 kinds of tea and ice tea, tablecloth and fake money. We are role playing that we are a tea lady society that has a million dollars to donate to a worthy cause. We are going to look at the various organizations and how they would use the money, and then we will decide which organizations will get our support, how much and why.
Discussing philantrophy with 9 year old girls on a Sunday afternoon with good tea? The perfect outing for me.
