Julia was concerned that the fairies would not be able to find us now that we have moved, (she’s been having a lot of visits from the tooth fairy) and so we made a meal for the fairies using found bits of berries, leaves and litter from our new yard.

The first class was great fun! I was nervous about the first class because I have had art as the focus of my teaching for months. Being in bare room with kids was great fun. I have a great bunch of kids this year, and many left excited to come back the following week.

In 10 days, Mrs. Twigg is stepping into the classroom again and I am so eager for it. I have my suitcase packed for the very first class, and a Mrs. Twigg sweater. I knit it using Rowan’s soft tweed in the color scheme “Twig” of course. I think it is perfect.

We are blessed.
We bought the house and we can enter it in 12 days!!
This comes at the perfect time, I can focus on courses I am taking and courses I am teaching. And, know that at the end of the day I have a lovely home to relax in.
